    Samsung Un65fh6001 Center Band

Is this a known panel fault, or tab bond problem?

The other examples I have seen are different. (The key being, that I have seen.)

(I haven't opened this one yet.)

    Thanks for your input.

I would inspect the section of the tab bonding board where the LCD panel is connected to the tab bonding board.
Does this panel have tab bonding board on the bottom edge of the panel?
What is the history of the TV?

Maybe the display was cleaned with chemicals that blew out and attacked the sticks attached to the glass. If you are lucky, it can be an imperfect contact to the LVDS cable.

        budm,
IDK, I haven't cracked it. (I thought I saw a thread here, but it evades me.)

Apparently, it was acting up a year ago, received a thump for encouragement, and straightened out, until just recently.

(Kinda wondering how many more thumps it got.)

        Thanx.
