    ASRock P4i65G with bad caps

The motherboard in the title used to be used as a hardware tester. After a few years, it became unstable, experiencing random lock-ups. A few months later it stopped posting. Every single capacitor was OST branded except for Nichicon HD in the VRM in. None of the caps were showing any visual signs of failure. After replacing the small (6.3v, 1000uF) caps with Panasonic and the VRM out caps (6.3v, 1500uF) with Rubycon, it's back in bussiness. Sorry but I don't have any pics - sold the board in a computer
I love putting bad caps and flat batteries in fire and watching them explode!!

No wonder it doesn't work! You installed the jumper wires backwards
