Re: Need bios hp probook 430 G4

Hi, I would need the password removed from those 2 bios files which are from a HP ProBook 430 G4.
Is there a guide for removing the password? I have another 6 430 G4 where I need the password removed. So I would not want to overstress the community with all those request and do it on my own.
            Thanks!

Hi, I have a DA0X81MB6E0 REV: E MODEL X81, after liquid damage the machine wouldn't turn on. After clean and repair the machine powers with kb backlight and CAPS&NUM Lock blinking 5 times, black screen.

I suspect it to be bios related. Would someone have a look at my dump file?

                          Thank you.

Yes, that is the right serial and model, just like it is written on the case.

Re: Need bios hp probook 430 G4

I followed the instructions and rebuilt the ME Region on my original dump.
I found that my bios ME Version is 11.6.1.1142, and using this link:

I downloaded the correspondent version zip, in my case this file:

And I chose "CSME 11.6 Repository r32\11.6.1.1142_CON_LP_C_NPDM_PRD_RGN.bin" file, as it seemed to be the most identical file by the name abbreviations (Consumer LP, SPT/KBP-LP C)

I changed its name to "ME Region.bin" and overwritten the file inside Decomp, in the Intel FIT folder. Built the image, pressing ok in any option ahead.

ME analyzer is now saying the file is "configured" instead of "initialized", so I am to suppose that the ME Region has been fixed properly. But after flash, I get the exact same result, 5 caps&num blinks with a black screen, followed by fast fan spin.

Would you please confirm for me if this file is properly set?

                                    Original - original dump
ME file - file used to fix me region
ME fixed - final image created

                                    Thank you for your support.
