Help Finding SAMWHA & SamYoung Data Sheets/Info

I have a couple of amplifiers that are around 15+ Y/O and while a few of the alum cans NEED to be replaced, I am just going to replace them all at the same time. However, LoL, I can't seem to find much information besides what's actually on them. I.E. V/uF/Brand/Series/Temps. I don't want to throw $150 in caps at them (esp with all the work required to change them out) and find out that because the ripple current/esr/impedance is now different from what the original design called for, the power supply or audio output side is doing something funky and now the drivers are toast, or there is now induced noise. Which would actually be my luck, all that work and POOF, instant paperweights!!

Sorry for the rant, I have looked in the "Datasheet Depot" section of the site along with no real results from the manufactures sites nor GooGle. The SAMWHA's in question are HC 85*C (M) 50WV 8200uF, and that's all I can find on those "CE-HC". The other SW's are "BP", and "RX" series. The SamYoungs, are the "SMS", "SXE", "SHL", and "SRF" series caps. THX for any and ALL help!!

interestingly, it looks like Samwha dont make electrolytics anymore!

Samwha website is absurd... you can find aluminum cap not under "Samwha capacitor" but under "Samwha Electric".

The web catalog is damn slow... 5---10 minutes to load a page

      Here one link http://www.samwha.co.kr/SW_catalogue...um=pt&cpage=18

I attach here what I found about HC and BP series.

Much appreciated for the help, however, ....... LoL I don't think that is the right one for the HC's. Unless they have their dimensions listed backwards? According to their legend it's Dia X L, 35mm X 30mm. I just re-measured them and I get ~36mm OD, prolly due to them being a hair swollen and the shrink wrap, and 26mm (L) with a hard plastic top cover and heat shrink on them. @30mm (L)they would come in direct contact with the bottom cover plate of the amplifier. I have taken a couple of pics to hopefully show. In the last pic you can see that the "BP" is almost the same height as the "HC" in question and they are listed as 25mm L.

I somehow stumbled upon this section of the site that loads quick and has a list of the caps per that ElE. type.

I am going to shoot them an email and hope for some help on the RX and HC versions

Could be custom size. Just follow general rules: regarding the big ones, if it's linear power supply (likely it is), than standard are OK, long-life better.

As for the rest, if it is very small (<=8 mm tall) it's always GP. If it's 85°C, it's pretty much always GP. From some 470 uF above those are likely filtering, you can use long-life or even some low-ESR because of endurance. Smaller stick with GP as well.

Watch for polarity, if they have no - marking and/or BP on them, they are bipolar.

Well this is what I got from them,
                  "Thanks for your inquiry.
My name is from Overseas sales team of Samwha Electric, Seoul Korea.
We did internally check with your requested item,
and our part no. HC1H828M35025HA100 is matched your request.
Plz find attached Samwha Electrics' company profile."
I'm at a loss because I have no idea what those numbers are supposed to mean.

Re: Help Finding SAMWHA & SamYoung Data Sheets/Info

Part number of some of their caps. From quick look I'd say series HC, 8200uF, 35 V, 25mm diameter? Check with their ordering info, there should be some spec how the PN is assembled together. Most japanese manufacturers have that in each series datasheet, there's only BS in the HC series spec sheet.

Ok I see the dims in that reference number, 35 dia X 25L. I agree buncha BS!! The main thing I am really concerned with on these is the ripple current. Amp is "rated" 1200RMS, but most tests put it around 1500.
