Imac Pro 820-00967-a EFI dump needed

    Hi guys
I have a nasty story with this one.
They brought it in with the EFI chip blown of. Somebody tried to unsolder it but in the process they destroyed it.
Does anybody have a clean bin file for this model?
820-00967-a is the model of the logic board
Oh, and by the way if anyone knows what is the original code of the EEPROM chip that would be very helpful. My chip is burned beyond recognition and cracked in two.
It seems that the schematic diagram is not yet available for this model.

post the full name and model of the laptop and serial number S/N ... give you more details ... or pictures with this data, and with the bios chip ..
Due to a lack of donations, server free space at a critical level, and possible closure of Bios Requests all donations are welcome, click:

It is actually not a laptop but an iMac Pro
      Model A1862, EMC 3144, Late 2017
      Serial number is : C02x80fhhx8f
It does not have a T2 chip yet but an EEPROM chip where EFI is.
That chip was overburned by a moron.
I need a clean bin file and if possible the model of the original EEPROM chip.
I really know how hard is to get it as these models are very rare on the market.

Are you sure it has an SPI ROM with EFI? I haven't seen an iMac Pro yet, but everywhere claims the iMac Pro has T2, in which case EFI would be fed to PCH from T2 through eSPI bus, and not from a dedicated SPI ROM.
There can be an SPI ROM for T2 (like on MacBooks, it's 4MB/32Mb, part number MX25U3235F according to schematics), it's not the EFI itself and I don't know if a donor dump can work, or maybe if you're lucky it can even be restored using T2 DFU restore.

          Hi
Do you have a schematic and board view for this one?
I could not find one available.
I will remove the whole board today to try and look for a T2 chip all over but from what I was able to see until now there isn't one.

Thank you SMDFlea for that link. From there I think that, actualy none of those two chips are EFI chips. Most likely, after removing the logic board, I will find out that this imac is actually a T2 chip one.
              That is quite disapointing.

There are no schematics/boardview available for this. T2 may be under a shield/sticker.
It's very hard to read anything on that chip, but it may indeed be MX25L4006EZNI.

                    Hi guys.
Many thanks for all your inputs.
I finally removed the board from the chassis today just to find out that .....there is a T2 chip on the other side of the board.
So....the burned chip is actually NOT an EFI chip. Probably just storing firmware.
Unfortunately the board is to expensive to replace so it willend up to be used for parts.
Such ashame for such an expensive machine.
                    Many thanks again.

As far as i know 2017 has T1 chip not T2.
                        This is true for MacBooks.
                        Can't confirm about iMac Pro.

Somebody died because of Corona and his device is locked, anybody can send a fresh dump or an efi chip for this model.
