Hello i am working on a rca Model Led55C55R120q
Has anyone ever changed leds in this model.
I need disassembly instructions don't want to crack the screen.

This models tricky is a lot of stuff attached to the speaker cover assemblies. The plastic that surrounds the speaker assy pops off the back and alot of mounting hardware theree if I remember the LCD panel if standing upright could fall forward. This is a prime example of cheaply made displays.

There is no metal framing on this TV. The plastic bezel holds the LCD panel and the diffusers in place.

That good. Sorry couldn't be more help. The one I performed LED strips on was a 65 inch RCA LED65G55R120Q last year. It was half disassembled when I got it for repair. I sent it back to him the same way
