    Acer 5315 LA-3551P

    Hi. Dev cant be switched on with soldered cmos battery. Widthout battery or empty battery working well. Any idea?

    Check CMOS battery voltage, if too low replace it.If its ok check the RTC area on the schematic .

      Check schematic, find the switching pin on kbc. Put a 3V cmos battery and try directly shorting the switching pin on sio to gnd and see if it turns on.
