I too have a mini3 with the classic symptoms - No sound from the speaker, but earphones ok. Do you still have the magic repair board available ?

Hi midibob, the wife blew my MINI 3 when she used it with a mic at school - no sound from the speaker anymore, but earphones ok! Would you still have one of those daughter boards available by any chance, and do you think I could solder this in being a non-techie ...?

my MINI3 suddenly started to sound weak and distorted, it sounds the same through the headphones
do you still have daughterboards available?

Hi Eduard,

That doesn't sound like the daughterboard will help you. The output to the headphones comes before the amp output so you would need to delve further back in the circuit.
As there are no diagrams available I can't really advise any further. I would check that that the 5v supply is OK first and go from there.

Hi Bob,

I finally got around to installing the daughterboard today (with the help of my brother who's got a proper soldering iron with a small tip). My Mini 3 works fine again - thanks so much!

A friend brought a Mini3 to me with this same problem (headphones work, the speaker itself checks out). I was hoping to get it fixed for him, so he could get back out busking. Would you be willing to part with another of your magic boards?
