      Hello,
Always looking for a way to be useful, enlightened and a new way of doing things. So sad to see technical information so hard to find these days. I have been an electronic tech for 40 years. I've worked on consumer and Air craft electronics my entire career.

Hello everyone, i've also just registered on this forum. I've been lurking here quite a few times already and this site is a great source for a lot of things.
I'm probably not the most technical informed person around here, but i'll se if i can help out others for sure.
Been DIY-repairing quite a few times but it has been a few years ago.
But sadly i'm stuck sometimes with a few repairs, thats why i often come around on this site.

Hey all, hope the new issues are keeping the grey matter exercised. Hoping to get some help and knowledge for a Panasonic LED Back lighting issue.

                    Hello everyone from badcap forum
I'm an older man, and I have a lot of free time now. I fix TV set (plasma , LED TV) and various electronics (audio) to my friends. As I have written earlier, I have a pretty good library of electronic schemes. I would like to share.

                    Best regards Martin

                                  Hi everyone

I'm Tom from the UK. I'm a software engineer/server admin, but have experimented and dabbled with electronics at a basic level for the last couple of years. A very basic level

I signed up because I am hoping to see if I can repair a late-2011 Apple MacBook Pro, which I bought used at a low price because it was known to be faulty. If I can get it working it will be a present for my mother, whose current laptop is on its last legs.

I bought it because I knew it started and would run the OS, so I figured the fault couldn't be too terminal. After investigating it I've found it's actually fine except it has multiple bad sensor readings that cause MacOS to perform like a snail running through glue with some heavy shopping. Also, it won't wake from sleep.

I'm aware of the magnitude of trying to fix a MBP with little or no experience, but I like a challenge I've already got the schematics and boardview thanks to a post on this forum, and last night I dismantled the thing, took out the logic board and gave it a good clean and reset all connectors. That didn't fix anything, but at least it gave me an idea how it all fits together.

Anyway I'll post about that in its own thread when and if I'm allowed to. In the meantime, hello and thanks for having me

Hello all, I'm from the US. I've always repaired electronics and it's what I do as a job, but rarely component level. I've been interested in repairing PC motherboards so here I am.

Hello, I am from Taiwan and currently have some problems (I think so) with my Viewsonic VA1912wb monitor. So I came here for advise from all the pro's in order to point me in the right direction.

                                        Hello everybody!

I'm electronics engineer by profession and like to repair everything possible in free time. Whenever it is my car or phone I like to try.

Been lurking bad caps since 2007 but haven't registered before.

                                          Hi guys and galls,

I recently witnessed my Panasonic TX-P42VT30E plasma death
The TV just made it into it's 7th year of use and I was more than pleased with the way it worked for all these years.
As I asked the local Panasonic authorized shop, it would cost me between 250 and 700 euro to repair it with them as they only replace the defective boards, they do not actually repair anything.
Being a little used with the soldering iron but not so much an electronics specialist, I came here for some questions related to my case.
Who knows, maybe I'll like it here and stay long after my TV repair... especially if some of the members will help me fix my great plasma TV...
