That's the Bumpgate defect. You will probably have to replace both GPUs. If you aren't good with BGA soldering, then you won't be able to do it.Last edited by c_hegge; 06-22-2015, 03:41 PM.I love putting bad caps and flat batteries in fire and watching them explode!!

Yes, although you'd want to be sure that the new GPUs are dated 2010 or newer, otherwise, they will have the same defect and will also fail sooner or later.I love putting bad caps and flat batteries in fire and watching them explode!!
