Akasa AK-P400FG - No power up.

Hello all, been a while hope are all well.

Pulled this rather shiny number out of a build.

Has its 12V standby but on powering the machine it does nothing.

Swapped the PSU out and the build was fine so there the problem lies.

Odd PSU layout for me, has a couple of daughterboards unfamiliar to me.

Full of teapos but all look perfect. No visual clues to whats going on.

    Thanks!

It's ~16 years old, so it would be worthwhile to check out small start-up related electrolytics. It has active PFC, so check the voltage across the big electrolytic cap in the middle of the PCB (probably should be ~390V).

Power Supplies should be boring: No loud noises, no bright flashes, and no bad smells.

        Oops yes

Will check the voltage across the caps and report back.
