Samsung 205BW 20" LCD monitor need inverter transformer

    Samsung 205BW 20" LCD monitor need inverter transformer

    Hello, I am working on a Samsung 205bw that is flashing the back-lamps for 2 second and then shut off.After troubleshooting the inverter circuit I discover one of the six transformer is open. I need help locating an original replacement transformer or a compatible replacement. I have posted a picture of the board and the transformer. Here is what written on the transformer.

    SPI 8TR00051
    0623 4 FC GP

    I have the exact same problem. How did you determine it was open?

        This was easy to figure out because of the arching noise I was heard during powering up this LCD monitor. So I remove two of the three transformers ( from the side I was hearing the arching noise) and measure each transformer primary winding and secondary winding.

        Thanks PlainBill I already visitor about LCDparts.net and I will check out the electronica-usa.com. Its doesn't look to hopeful for this LCD monitor!! I will keep looking.
