thanks capleacer; today i went to a pawn shop here in town ,i saw a monitor TV Vizio M190VA asking Price 40 bucks ,i offered 30 bucks and i got me a nice TV/PC Monitor/TV , the only thing i noticed on my cheap purchase was the remote control had no batteries closer everything else is like new.

did you try pressing hard the bezel on top and bottom where the lines are?
