    Bosch auto cd 7649168391

    greeting,

    please help with help:
I have a car cd player in Reno Bosch, which is not an avatar. :glazba, muzika:
I removed the chip TDA7566 out and wanted to scan it-singles channels.
I plugged it into a 13V power, connected sound to a single channel and a speaker.
I do not get any sound.
I put together all the masses on pins 1-2-8-13-18-24.
to test whether this chip must have I2c pin 22-25 clk data or that is not necessary

    Thank you

You should upload your pictures directly to the forum, most people aren't going to bother downloading an archive.

TDA7566 Datasheet shows block diagram on page 5. This shows mute switch controlled by I2C. Most likely you won't get anything from it because you didn't send unmute commands on I2C bus.

So you will need a micro-controller etc to make this thing work.

You are better off using a TDA7560 instead, which does not have/need I2C control. The mute and standby function is controlled with standard logic level inputs. Other than that it is effectively the same chip.

does not mean anything about the chip's correctness test without I2c commands.
it's OK - a new chip has been bought -Ebay - I'm waiting for it to come.
thank you very much for the information

I just realised, are you trying to fix the car radio?

I thought you wanted to make your own amplifier from the chip inside.

              Maybe bad amplifier IC then, but if not, you can check two things then;
              1) Trace the signal - does the chip receive any audio input?
              2) Check for signal on output pin, it may be lost on its way to the speaker due to broken connection, open-circuit component etc.
