    Re: Capacitor Replacement - Quick Question

    OK I measured them :

    16v = 10.3mm diameter (approx) and 21.3 tall (approx)

    6.3v = 10.1 diameter (approx) and 16mm tall (approx)

    I don't think height is a concern.

    Here is the selection of 16v :

    Here is the selection of 6.3v :

    Can you guys make a recommendation ?

      I'm thinking "P12343-ND" and "P15335CT-ND" ... I just chose the most expensive, LOL.

            Only the highly regarded OC Boards like Abit NF7 V2.0 and things like that.
            The normal Standard/OEM ones not really...

              Overclocking mainboards, cool

              I've never dared to overclock anything, LOL.

                Well, then lets call them high End Boards instead of Overclocking Boards...

                Though only a couple are sought after. Like the mentioned Abit, but also many DFI Boards are wanted...

                  Doesn't really make much sense to overclock retro motherboards and CPUs, except for the thrill of it I guess.

                  If you need something faster, you just use or buy something a bit faster
