dj_ricoh ... quiting is for weeks :P
i only quit if the bloody board is completely burned ...nothing possible to save.
if parts are missing , if not working , thats the real challenge ..specially the missing parts board ..i receive a lot of does kind of board here , since we do only work in resell mode , we are a lab and we receive machines frmo other stores. many times they come completely fucked up . even like this , we keep fixing them

and btw , that area there isn't much special unless capacitors near 19volts line.

reworking and cleaning all layer with a dremel would fix this machine no problem
