I need help on this please. i have here a Toshiba Satellite C840 laptop with BOARD IDABY3CMB8E0 REV:E.Everything works fine when charger only plugged in and with battery plugged in only, but the problem is you can charged the battery only with no issue with the laptop is off, but when it is power on and you plugged the charger it cannot charge the battery as one component is heat up. i have upload a image on the component on the board.please help

It's normal for the diode to heat up a bit under high load, 0.5V voltage drop across the diode with 4A is 2W, so yes it'll make it heat up a bit. I see flux around there so make sure the diode is the proper one. Also if the battery is not charging while the computer is being used, maybe the battery is bad or the AC adapter is not the proper rating.OpenBoardView — https://github.com/OpenBoardView/OpenBoardView

the only problem with this board is not charging when laptop is on when i plugged a bench lab with battery plugged in taking amps and PD1 heats up.but when laptop shuts off and plugged the charger and battery and turn on its working fine and charge the battery without issue

now i have new problem with this laptop display becomes WHITE screen, already done replaced with new lvds cable still the same issue, replaced with new screen same issue, i have check on the schematic the LCDVCC is missing on pin23 on lvds connector, and on U26 chip here is the voltages
PIN1= 0V
PIN2= 0V
PIN3= 3.3V
PIN4= 3.3V
PIN5= 0V
PIN6= 3.3V
Noticed that the out the PIN1 Is the output of the chip because pin 2 and pin 5 is ground.does anyone help me on this to solved this problem please
