    Probook 450 g3 capslock blinking - BIOS

    HI,
At first power on , black screen and I hear 2 beep and 2 beep with different sound frequency .
I reprogrammed bios with two differen dump and now no beep but capslock and numlock blink 5 time , after that no blink and fan turns at max speed.
I read it's possible a general system board failure ?

Do you mean 2 short beeps and 2 long beeps?

No, it's strange but the duration of the beep it's the same.
I would not open the case until I'm sure the problem is not the bios.
But now 5 blinks seem to be a generic failure
(I downloaded the dump from dr bios and vinafix )

Re: Probook 450 g3 capslock blinking

at first, was there anything that damaged the original bios?
were the 4 beeps repeating or performing once?
a generic failure means the failure can be on any components. I guess it is due to incompatibility of the new bios dumps to your laptop. but I am not sure. it is also possible that they are compatible.
is there any display with the new bios dumps?

Re: Probook 450 g3 capslock blinking

The 2 + 2 beeps are repeated indefinitely, but I thought if the original bios was good, the dump should also give the same beep frequency.
I have doubts about the dump because if I remove the ram I do not hear any warning beeps.
          No display

Without disassembly it, I read only x63 UMA i5 6 generation

Try this bios. This is 100% tested ok. If still no display not a bios issue. Do check the mobo code before flashing.

I disassembled the notebook, the motherboard has the correct number.
Replaced the bios but always 5 blink
                  I think it's a pch problem
                  I used a ram ddr3l 12800s 8 g
there are other tests like reprogramming the ec before doing a cpu rework?
Cpu is cold I try to check voltages

I attached this bios , I appreciate if someone can check its integrity

before declaring the Notebook unreparable without replacing the motherboard, I sent the Bios to Doctor Bios and with my surprise the Notebook work fine.
I had tried several Bios with no luck

This is the bios but at startup appears:
system is booting in manufactoring program mode 33
I'm trying to fix it, reinsert serial, etc
Someone can help me how restore to normal mode ?
                            thanks

Every startup the number decrease of one unit, I think the solution is to insert motherboard data and when after a lot of startup the zero number is reached the system return in user mode

Use hp BCU utility to fix manufacturing mode issue.
