    Panasonic TX-L47WT50B stby LED only

Hi all, looking for some guidance on this sick set someone asked me to look at.
According to the owner's wife, it got stuck displaying the 'Viera' logo, then when it wouldn't come on the standby led flashed 13 times.
It has done neither of these tricks for me. When plugged into the mains the led comes on red, pressing the power button on the remote starts it flashing green for a few seconds then it stays solid green. Any further presses extinguish the led. There is no sign of life from the TV itself. No audio (not even a start-up click from the speakers) and no backlight.
Ordinarilly I would check a few voltages before posting - sometimes this even reveals the fault. BUT I can see no voltage references on any of the boards so apart from the obvious inverter outputs to the leds (which are zero volts) I didn't check any further.
Are there any other obvious things I can check?

    TIA.

This would be easy if the boards/sockets were labelled, unfortunately Panasonic has decided not to do this.
