    JTAG ARM7tdmi ? please help

    Hello,
please help. I am absolutely newbie in jtag.
    I have device with Philips/NXP BGB203 IC.
Device is connected to oled display that is burned and is not possible to buy new one. So i have found solution how to connect another display...problem is that display is bad initialized (picture attached).
Soo i need to jtag read ic, edit and then write it back.
    Ic is based on ARM7tdmi.

Can anyone tell me what i need for it? I have Altera USB blaster but i dont know if is it usable

EDIT: original oled have driver SSD1300...new have SSD1306/7

Thank you for help or any idea

Re: JTAG ARM7tdmi ? please help

get a datasheet for the chip and see what modes of debug/programming it supports.
i know the ST branded arm stuff uses a serial jtag or a standard serial port.

what's it from? if it's comercial then it may be protected.

Re: JTAG ARM7tdmi ? please help

in datasheet is only ..."JTAG for ICE and flash memory programming" and then jtag pinouts.

it's an old sony ericsson bluetooth watch

you need the full datasheet, not that thing,
but i doubt you can read the code.
i also doubt you will find what you need given it's made by NXP(philips)

do you know how to hack machine-code software?
        just asking.

Sooo maybe jtag is not needed.
I have found some datasheets of devices with same ic...and bgb203 can be programmed via rs232 with AT commands. So i will test it
