Hi together,
I am new at this forum and just for learning an understanding i took this old mainboard from a 17" Packard Bell Laptop.
Battery is dead and I run it with a power adapter only.
It turns on, I get image on the the screen, fans start running and I can enter bios or bootmenü (I removed the hdd). After exactly 32 seconds it turns off and I can start over again.
I checked it with a stop watch, every time exactly 32 seconds, doesn't look like a faulty cap or something like this to me.
More than a system check fails at the same stage but when I can enter bios or bootmenu the system check should already be completed, right ?
i removed both RAM-Modules, tried with only one or the other, i applied new heat sink and replaced the 3V Button Cell, same result.
In the schematics I found sheet 43 (Run Power) and measured some voltages but I have no idea what can cause the system shut down.
Some hints for me ?
Thanks a lot in advance
