Hello. I have an HP x360 14m-dw0023dx that keeps going into BIOS recovery and even though it says verification completed and that it was programmed successfully, it just keeps going back to BIOS recovery. Attached is the original BIOS bin I pulled from the ROM

Laptop info: HP x360 14m-dw0023dx
Board part number: L96511-601

Can you get me the BIN from the latest available .exe file on HP's site please? Thanks.

bios extracted from the HP website update...the laptop has two bios versions, yours is 0830F
DMI + KEYWIN - 220000 - 22103F

Thank you. It might be something els as it does the same. Laptop turns on, fan spins 4x and then stay on but no display.

So I cannot backup bios to usb when updating bios? How can I reflash or downgrade older bios? I really dont figure out how to remove chip from the motherboard.

Anything other way to unlock mpm?

what you posted is the update from the website.. you need the bios from the bios chip on the motherboard.. I sent you a video.. you need to extract the chip from the board.. read it with the programmer... erase the password..write it back on the chip and then stick the chip back...otherwise it's not possible...
