![]() Hello everyone.
I am new here, and i am new in the industry(i started to work in a local repair shop a few weeks ago). I have a laptop Lenovo 500-15isk with the following symptoms: starts with the battery, do not charge|does not see DC adapter. without battery turns on for a second, then shuts down. Amp consumption hits 0.5A then goes back to fluctuation 0.1..0.2 with a tiny noise near the charging circuit. Could not find schematics diagram and i also do not have enough experience to find all control voltages without it. I would appreciate any clues and ideas. |

![]() So I fixed this board today. after checking chip voltages i found that VCC drops from 19v to 3.1v on one tiny resistor which looked more like a fuse. i googled a little bit and found the same exact problem with the same exact symptoms on some Russian forum. I decided to short this resistor and it really worked. It was a 10om resistor, and i replaced it with a tiny copper wire.
even though i could not find this board schematics anywhere, chip datasheet really helped me to troubleshoot this issue. |
