    Need help to finish my project COF portable Bounding machine.

    Need help to finish my project the world's first portable COF Bounding machine.

    my idea is use same theory like hair straightener to make a COF portable Bounding machine.

    COF Bounding needs temperature, pressure, and Precise alignment and the most important.....Anisotropic Conductive Film tape...ACF tape which price has been dropping become more affordable.

    i try to use two piece flat glasses (glass microscope slides. ) to hold COF TAB in between with spring give the pressure.......but i don't know how to heart up the glasses. i thought to put heating element inside the glasses but at same time they need to be transparent for COF position alignment.....any help would be appreciated

    COF bounding ACF tape methods.

    Traditional heating method:
    3M Anisotropic Conductive Film (ACF) Interconnect Solutions

    Bonding Pressure (MPa) 3 to 5

    Ultrasonic vibration method: No one has done this just my imagination.

    Induction coil method: No one has ever done this before just my imagination.

    after we put LCD screen and COF in between glass microscope slides, my idea is use induction coil, non-touch, heat up the bounding ?
    The key is because there is no contact, so it won't vibrate and lost precision.

    I have one question is this must be ferromagnetic but one of the videos above he did used induction coil to solder the copper wires?

      Cold welding method: this one needs carry LCD screen to the outer space. COF and metal coated LCD screen will automatically cold weld, fusing together.

      Solar energy method: put COF in between two prices microscope slides, adjust position with LCD screen then use magnifying glass focus on it and finish the welding work. most likely i will accomplish COF bounding with this.

        The last two whichever I can think of are....

        Quartz Infrared heating element method:
        This maybe alternatively to solar if it is a cloudy day or rainy day.

        Ceramic Heating Element method:
        A lots of hair straighteners already use ceramic heating elements

        Is there anybody can think of another method?

          I think induction heating would induce high voltages and could damage components. It's a very strong B-field.

          These guys use a hot bar loop, which reminds me of a soldering gun:

            I tried to import one COF bonding machine to United States but I figure out all that weight are the grass and the metal frame, all machines are monopolized by China, and the technology of this machine has not been updated.

            The working principle of the whole machine is the same as the temperature-adjustable soldering iron or hair straightener and I don't believe we need a air compressor attach to the machine to do the job.

            For me this COF bonding machine should not bigger than a FoodSaver.

            Precise alignment, new ACF tape, temperature and pressure are the most important factors which are not too difficult to accomplished.
