My friends said it started doing this popping before about a 15 min lamp overheat every time.
The power board had 7 year old crapXons that bloated the ballast lamp cap.
I replaced all the power board caps and the lamp cap. It stays on now but about 20 mins in the speakers start popping (randomly, every few seconds). Muted it stops it, so it could be pre amp or pre post amp.
Here is the video board. Should I try replacing those other lytics? I'm pretty sure some of these are not polymers. In fact I see a few vents. The cans are samwha rg and sd. Seemingly general purpose.
