Need to do some disassembly to get to them, remove bezel etc., some can be "fixed" by finding a way to apply some pressure on the tab with a shim of some sort, try flex the frame a bit see if the display changes any, not too hard, don't want to crack it.

Not sure if the "cutoff tape" method would work, it's been working on symptoms that I didn't think it would tho, lately.

Bit of an example there, if you get to the tabs and applying a little pressure and the picture doesn't clear up, then a bad bond is not the problem. Could try the "cut tape" method first, just for fun, see what happens, sometimes you have to play with the size of the tape to get it just right: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7TT8QYeN1s8

Suppose it could have just knocked out or knocked loose, looks like about half the backlight leds, whatever the issue, looks like you will need to do some testing if the problem is not obvious when you get the back off.

Going by that partial white line across half the screen I would say the panel is cracked at that point causing the problem you see.
