    Buffalo Airstation G54 WYR-G54 Wifi G Router

    Adding to the knowledge base.

This is an old router circa 2005 that I had picked up while I was in Japan. It started getting flaky with freezing and disconnects. I retired it from service and finally pulled it apart today to show 2 bad caps (bulging).

They are Teapo 470 uF - 25V caps.

I haven't bothered to fix it yet; with the stock firmware, this would be garbage but I'll see if dd-wrt was ever ported to this device.

Hope this helps someone out there.

I replaced the Teapo 470 uF - 25V caps on one of these old routers around 10 years ago, i replaced them with.... 470uF 35V TEAPO caps .I only used the router a few times after that,if i remember it was while i unbricked my WRT-54G . Fired up the old router today.
