    dell motherboard 13283-1 power problem

    dell motherboard

    13283-1 board

voltages of power connector (DC IN) very low, i think shorted. (no 19V)

when disconnected from board power connector voltage ok 19v coming.
help me to resolve this asap.

after removing PU4402 or pr4402 resistor, voltage of dc in is ok but not power on the board i changed that mosfet and resistor but not worked help me asap.

You have to follow & Understand the Basic before you start to change components, What is your 1st Mosfet & why is it not switching? As for the Schematic AMD you 1st Fet is P -channel the Gate voltage is too high for the gate pass , check out the Pic & update the voltage

I have a similar problem to this, Does anyone know a good thread that teaches how to properly test mosfets? I am relatively new to board repair, I can replace parts fine, just don't know the correct way to test them

or does anyone know where i can by a PU4402 mosfet? are then interchangeable at all, or is this one limited to only being made at dell?
