FE3407F Alternative ?

I have here an LG 50PG20 with the common buffer board failure. This board uses the FE3407F scan ic but I don't have any here. I removed a Renesas R2A20299FT from a different LG buffer board and soldered it in place. The result is I have a full raster but no image in this portion of the screen and a black line somewhere in the middle a few pixels wide.

I've checked and rechecked and resoldered the chip a few times always the same result.

Does anyone know with certainty if these ic's are compatible ?

I ordered a couple of FE3407F ic's from the bay and after installation the tv is back to normal.

Conclusion - these two ic's are NOT compatible.
