So my TV has decided to starting to play up just wondering if this could be the t con card or would people think this is a ribbon connection problem.

I'm guessing if it is a ribbon problem it's not worth fixing,
The TV doesn't really stand me at anything as I was given it

Take the back off and unhook the ribbon cable(s) from one side of the tcon to the panel and power it up. Note the picture on the screen. Rehook those ribbons and unhook the other side and note the screen. Post the results.
