Your only chance is to find a similar model with a broken screen. You will most likely not find this as an accessory.Comment

Long time since anyone has posted here but I save these cables. I have some if anyone needs to purchase one. Just get in touch with me.
I have a LC-52SB55U I am about to work on as well.
In my opinion, if this cable shorted out then you have something that spilt on the screen and caused it to short. But even if you replace the cable the LCD panel is damaged beyond repair. Want to try I have the cable.Comment

the cable was faulty in my case, cleaned it with WD-40 and 90% alcohol very well did the trick, if your cable was badly damaged , it is better looking for it online.
