          Do you have a gas burner / stove? If yes, you can try it on that.

          I've been doing my last several re-flows and parting on our gas stove, and it works great. IMO, much better than the cheap rework stations, actually. As an added bonus, even the PCB doesn't darken after my reflows (since I position my boards about 3-5 cm away from the gas flame, so it works more like hot air). IR heaters tend to make board dark for some reason. Although that is not a problem, moisture is: IR + moisture in the board layers = popcorned board.

              Sorry, no videos I can find.
              But it's not that difficult. The only thing is, you *will* need a type-K temperature meter. IR thermometer won't work well.
