I've been having problems with the stability of the screen on my Xbox particularly when running XBMC and notice that the three next to the CPU are bad. I bought the ones in the link you posted and they have just arrived. I know very little about capacitors but I'm confident I can replace them. Could you help with a couple of questions please? I got ten of them in the package so can I use the excess capacitors on the board and where? And please just confirm for me their orientation. Mucho gracias |

![]() orientation, the long wire is positive,
the painted bit is negative, so the painted bit goes to where the stripe was on the old cap. other question needs a pic of your board - there are 6 different ones |

![]() STJ now you have polymers stuck in my head and I want to recap the whole dang board instead of 3 bad ones. I have 2200uf 6.3v, 1500uf 6.3v, and 100uf 25v all polymers in my cart on DigiKey for $25. Should I pull the trigger?

![]() shipping can be selected and is often 1-2weeks
they arent counterfeit, they are simply obtained in bulk - think about where all the pcb factories are!! besides, they dont state the make in the add - and china makes a lot of poly's the reality is that in the west we have been robbed for decades by suppliers. i buy 100 high grade leds for about $2 - the western scumbags would price the same parts at 20-30c each!! it's easy to see how digikey,RS, etc got so big!! |

![]() the sanyo's are probably just a bit old - and with short legs.
short legs is a good giveaway that they are surplus from a production line because they are fitted by robots. |

I am not trying to be obnoxious so please do not take it that way This is the reason I do not buy a lot of items from site like this because I really do not know I have the same problem with EBay sometimes I go with the premise that the majority of items are Here is a story I bought a engraver than has a Arduino Nano Controller Board that is a nock off The only reason I know this is when I went to there to get site to get drivers and look at there Nano board I noticed that the ones I have are a little different so I researched it a little bit and found out that are a lot of nock offs out there but that not say that they work any different And yes they are lot cheaper in price The question is how do you now what good and what not good at all Capacitors are a perfect example of what I am talking about the really good quality ones and what is garbage
