    Samsung Galaxy S7

So my niece has an S7 that somehow quit working after being charged all night. I have done all conventional methods that I found on the internet so far.

There is absolutely no signs of life when plugged in, buttons pressed, etc..

It will not turn on or the charge LED does not illuminate when plugged in.

I tried the reset with the volume down and power button. No life what so ever.

The only way that I can even positively identify that power is getting to this unit is that I found voltage on some small components near the battery.

I had it all apart and found no signs of broken parts or loose connections.

it must still be under warranty anyway.

      Only Note 7 was recalled.

The first thing that comes in mind is a dead power IC. My S4 died in a similar fashion.
Your phone should still be under warranty, so the best thing to do would be to RMA it.
