Help identifying smd capacitor on abit nf7-s v2.0 motherboard

So I was trying to insert my graphics card in the agp slot, but my card slipped and I knocked a tiny smd capacitor..

The motherboard still works, I haven't tested the sound yet...

Is there any way to identify the missing smd capacitor (or transistor ?)

Unfortunately I lost the smd component.

Could be related to the onboard audio.
Follow the trace in either direction and see where it goes.
As for replacement the cap right next to it will most likely be the same value.

It's hard to follow the circuit line, but I think the line goes to the audio 1 output.

should I use the brown capacitor (see image) for replacement or the black one

The Big Black components are Ferrite Beads.
The cap that is broken off will be the same capacitance as the other 3 caps.
        You have capacitance meter, right?

See page 41 here: - everywhere it's audio signals they use 1uF in series...

So probably 1uF 10v or higher rating, something like that ... looks like 0402 or 0603 size wise.

Could just desolder the capacitor below the one you broke and measure it and then put it back.
You can use leaded ceramic capacitor as well, just solder the leads to those pads.

The board will work without the capacitor there, but you won't have sound in that speaker.

The labels are not regular, the only choice left you have is to follow the circuit path.

I managed to solder back the smd cap from a bad abit motherboard... im not 100% happy with the results, the cap is not perfectly flat, it is ok to leave it that way? Or i should resolder again?

If it's working, let it be. It's just visual, won't bother anyone.

It's fine to leave it like that. As long as it's connected properly (which it looks like it is) and everything works, you won't have a problem with it.
