    Asus P5G41T-M LX - what are those white 8-pin chips?

    Here a picture of the board:



    What are those white 8-pin things next to the paralel and the PS2 port? They are not labeled on the chips themselves.

    What are they called on the PCB Marking?

    Some are Resistor Networks (the black ones), the light brown ones possibly capacitance array/network...

      There is no labeling on the PCB. Here an other picture of the mainboard on a version with missing LPT port:

      You see still 3 of them around the PS2 connectors.

        This should help. They look like they are cl31c151kbcnbnc, capacitor array
        If you get a License Error (code:203)! just close that and try again, the second time it will open, then ctrl + F11 and select the file F5G41T-M_LX_1.01G.FZ
        It's not exact but close, to download the correct one required joining a forum
