Recently my ECS PC would not boot. Checked the battery and was fine. While had the PC open noticed some caps were bulging. Closer inspection did not find any signs of leakage or overheated components so hope there is no other damage.
Removed and checked the power supply but did not find any bulging or leaking caps or other problems.
All the ECS motherboard caps look like G LUXON while the Morex MXA-300 PTFN power supply has a mixture of Teapo and g luxon. The 2 largest caps are Teapo LXK 200V 680μF.
Have done some seaching and the closest motherboard photo I could find to mine is a Matsonic 8308E. http://www.pcper.com/amdmblegacy/ima...e-mb-small.jpg The major difference is that mine has 3 inductors in a row instead of 4 for the 8308E.
Am interested in any comments and would be glad to post some photos if there is any interest.
Thanks
Gene
