Default Replacement backup battery for Teac CR H100 HiFi

Hi I have an old Teac CR-H100 hifi that has a leaking and worn out backup battery. I was looking for a suitable replacement component. Would something like this be ok:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/362488422916

Seems to be the right size. It it NiMh but the original is NiCad but I can't seem to find any NiCad type replacements.

The NiMh Varta V40H looks fine, just make sure the size will work. The PCB has extra holes for one size wider.
It might be a 1/3AA size 17mm x 14mm dia. but those are all big 110mAh and yours is 35mAh.

TEAC charging circuit is 1k ohm to 4.3V standby power, so ~0.7mA constant charge.
