I've obtained broken PS4 (CUH-1116A), tested hdmi connector and filters and they are looking fine, currently I'm waiting for MN86471A chip to arrive but I need to ask a stupid question.. These two ?diodes? have a continuity across itself and about 1k ohm to ground. Is that normal? Last edited by meciu; 05-23-2018 at 06:01 AM.. |

![]() those look like inductors, they should have a very low resistance if they are.

![]() The two locations look like a ferrite bead. I don't have a PS4 taken apart next to me at hte moment, but the configuration for the one on the left looks like a pi-filter followed by a row of caps on the analog filtered rail.
