    acer e1-531 black screen

I have acer aspire e1-531 turn on but without data . after check voltages all voltages is found except missed volt on coil PL22 for GFX core . I changed CPU but no data . after then I changed IC CPU ISL 95836 but no data too . I need for help

Test the requirements of the PU11 / CPU_B+/PQ31 PQ32 Fet for short
    PU11 pin 6.7.3 Voltage
resistance to ground all pins PU11 Except GND pins 9.4 , try and Flash Bios save the Dump first if possible

I've programmed a bios chip for EC + Main with a trusted file .
I will check the points you mentioned and tell you the result .
      Thank you

        PQ 31 - S=0 volt G=0 volt D=19 volt
        PQ 32 - S=0 volt G=0 volt D=0 volt

PU11 no any short on IC except pin number 4 + 9 GND
        PU11 voltage - Pin 6= 5 volt Pin 7= 0 volt Pin 3=between 1.30-1.58 ( unstable )

what I do after this step ?

          PU11 voltage - Pin 5 LGATE pin 6 VCC not the same 5, pin 6 & 7 voltage is missing +5VS line trace it back , test the Voltage PU12 pin 6 & 7

            Note: PU11 + PQ31 + PQ32 not found on mother board

I tested the points again but the same measurement I wrote you in the previous reply

            PU12 voltage - Pin 6= 5 volt / Pin 7= 0 volt

Note: PU12 is not found on mother board too

              OK page 44 is +VS line test U22 U21 U2 all pins (123) (4) (5678)

                Re: acer e1-531 black screen

                U22 - S= 5 volt / G= 19 volt / D= 5 volt
                U21 - S=3.3 volt / G= 19 volt / D=3.3 volt

                U2 all pins = 0 volt

Note. U2 is not found on mother board

                  Re: acer e1-531 black screen

Do a continue to test without power U22 source to PU11 pin 6 , resistance to GND pin6 ? Put a jumper from +5VS to pin 6 if the U22 getting hot that chip is gone

Pin 6 from PU11 connected with source of mosfet U22 and no short on this track . Pin 6 & source U22 = 5 volt . why put bridge ?

My Miss understanding in #post 4 pin 6(+5V) no need of jumper
                      Go through the isl6208bcrz-t datasheet
                      PMW pin 3

The PWM signal is the control input for the driver. The PWM signal can enter three distinct states during operation. See “Three-State PWM Input” on page 8 for further details. Connect this pin to the PWM output of the controller.

Not sure maybe Signal is low or internal shot in IC
                      FCCM pin7
The FCCM pin enables or disables Diode Emulation. When FCCM is LOW, diode emulation is allowed. Otherwise, continuous conduction mode is forced. See “Diode Emulation” on page 8 for more detail.

You can try to change the IC to see if it’s working

                      Upload the Schematic of yours

i think your mb is either LA-6901P or LA-7912P and on both these mb, missing gfx core is due to bad pch in most of the cases though main bios flash does help sometimes. So after probing all aspects if you dont find anything, try changing pch.

I have the same problem. Have you solved your problem? It draws 0.50 amps and then the device goes out. No image gfx core voltage 0
