    Hp 15-quanta y11 no display

This mb switches on and consumption is 287 on dc supply. DRAM_RST is 0.11 on pin 30(should be 1.35V). Some of the measurements i have taken:

    DPWROK_EC-3.3V
    SLP_SUS_EC-3.3V
    SLP_SUS_ON-3.3V
    MAINON-3.3V
    SUS_ON-3.3V
    DNBSWON#-3.3V
    NBSWON#-3.3V
    SUSC#-3.3V
    HPROCHOT_EC-3.3V
    SUSWARN_EC-3.3V
    MBCLK-3.3V
    MBDATA-3.3V
    HWPG-3.3V
    EC_PWR_OK-3.3V
    VR_ON-3.3V
    SUSACK_EC-3.3V

All the above readings are on kbc pins and i think are ok. I have replaced ram regulator IC with a new one. Voltage on R266 is 1.35v on one side and other side has 0.11V. Flashed HP virgin bios still same issue.

PCH faulty?? or you beleive something else.

PS: Mb switches on and shuts down automatically after 30 seconds and again turns on . It does so twice and then stays on.

Problem solved. Earlier techie has changed bios and flashed it with wrong BID 0227D whereas it should be BID02292. Everything working ok after bios flash with correct bid.

What's the voltage on CPU VCore and PLTRST#?

EDIT: ah nice, how did you find out it was wrong BID?

After all those measurements listed above, i was inclined to think it was pch fault but then noticed that hp update which i've downloaded and extracted bios from has 2 different bids for this mobo. So thought it might be the other BID as laptop has come on my bench after 2 earlier attemps by others. Sometimes, thinking simple does work
