elite group? ECS k8t890-A one bad cap, bad transistor too?

Hi guys just opening up a post. A coworker of mine has a pc with this mobo in it. Its been booting up then locking up, booting and then blue screen, sometimes just blue screen, and acting all other sorts of goofy.

He tried a different power supply, same..

I tore it down, i have a bulged cap at "ct1" a 1000uf/6.3v there is also a transistor at "q4" a nikkos p3055ldg that the tab has turned blue. Have not conformed it has failed yet but most likely it has. Whats the odds thats all thats wrong? all the other caps look good no bulging. THis mobo is sporting ost caps.

If it still boots (or at least tries), then it's only the caps. the transistor is fine. don't power it on, though untill you replace the caps, otherwise, you will cook the transistors. Chances are, all of the caps are bad, whether they show it or not. OST often fail without showing it.
