The referenced link is not correct. The correct one is in the following post:
    https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showpo...43&postcount=3

In addition, you should measure RSMRST and SUSON before pressing the power button. measure pins 2,37,122,123 of SIO.

you forgot to measure RSMRST and SUSON. Probably, you should reprogram KB3926. But I am not sure yet.

Re: DA0LX8MB6D0 REV HP DV6 BIOS & help

            RSMRST 0V
            SUSON 0V
            With out pressing Power On
            I don't have the SIO reprogram (KB3926)
So I will replace the SIO & let you know
Thanks Caspain again for the support

but I am not sure about KB3926 yet.
I never replace big ICs before I get sure about the cause of the problem. That is because of the facts that replacement of big ICs takes a lot of work and it is costly and risky, and in addition, the replaced IC might be healthy.

Re: DA0LX8MB6D0 REV HP DV6 BIOS & help

first check how many bios ICs exist on the mainboard. If it is only one, make a backup and upload it here. Then reprogram the bios chip using another bios dump.

try the bios provided in the following thread. it belongs to HP Pavilion Dv7, but it may work.
                      https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=52554

Bios dump of DA0LX8MB6D0 is available on non-free websites but it is very cheap.
