Boardview / Schematics of Lenovo Thinkpad E14 NM-C771

Hi all. i have One of these Lenovo thinkpad E14 laptops that come with a ryzen cpu, but memtest gives thousands of errors. Because of this it's imposible to install Windows as install fails.


Sadly Lenovo built it with ram soldered to motherboard + 1 empty sodimm slot for ram expansion.


So I'm curious of what can be done with it, perhaps with boardview there are tips on how to disable onboard ram, wich would be great , i could install a sodimm ram and bypass the soldered ram.


Another thing that could be done is to patch bios, but i have no idea on that.

i was able to get a big schematic file about 6 megabyte pdf

but still no boardview , i don´t think that file works for checking if there is a resistor that can be changed in order to turn off the onboard ram.

if im wrong please let me know

This boardview has no component codes.

i was able to get a big schematic file about 6 megabyte pdf

Is there anyway to search these files? Sorry. new to repairs. I have downloaded openboard and boardviewer, but neither will open these PDF's interactively. Can not find any other source of schematic files. Thanks!

Hello, i have an E15 Lenovo with bad onboard memory and the boards look like almost the same.
Can you please explain what you mean by change board id to 111 ?
I have already removed soldered ram and try to figure out the next step.
Also resistors on the board they are not labeled so if you could show me some photos or explain what i have to change i would appreciate it.

What's the motherboard number, same NM-C771 or different?

Vesko356 Motherboard number is: GE420/GE520 NM-C771 REV 1.0 with the AMD APU

Also are the boardview and scematics available? it looks like they only sell them on various sites.
