Programming MEC1633L

New lenovo thinkpad laptops uses MEC1633L to store the bios password,
is it possible to read and write this chip? and wich programmer to use?

You can do that fairly easily with an spi flasher and some mad soldering skillz

I just came upon this issue with a board with a bad chip but I can't see paying for "VIP" when I have another board and I can just dump the flash and bios and clone it.

Of course I could always just buy another board and do a hex diff and wind up with the mloc to patch the serial myself as well as the certs.
