Dead xbox one controller - 1ACMD short

Hi,

So I'm trying to repair this xbox one controller, and I found the the 3.3v regulator is shorted. The number on it reads 1ACMD, I cant find a replacement anywhere.

I was hoping maybe someone on here could suggest a suitable replacement, in the UK preferably.

That's where I got the pic from, I read about the MP3414, but I wasn't able to find a source in the UK

the spec sheet says this ic converts 1.8 volts in to 3.3 volts output

Thanks for the links guys, as far as I know, mouser ships from USA. So I will probably go with rs-online.

Do you think that one will be suitable? I usually replace components with the same ones, I don't have a clue when it comes too substitutes.

Hello. Have you fixed your issue? I just got one in today with the same problem. The datasheet and part number you have is incorrect. This is the part number: mp2161gj. It should convert the incomming 5v to a voltage Microsoft predefines, with two resistors, as you can see in the datasheet. I have measured the resistances, made calculations, and output should be between 3 and 3.3v.

I did resolve the issue, but I used a donor board in the end.
