![]() I've got an Xbox One S PSU opened up. I'm not getting 12vdc output as I do with my test unit. I'm sure this board must have a fuse but I don't see it as everything on the board is poorly labeled.

Thanks! What's the rectangular component which is in the lower right area on the last pic? It has two connections, is black in the middle and greenish around its edges? Thanks! |

![]() stupid site makes the pictures SMALLER when i click on them!
the green part is a resistor, the fuse is gray and in the corner where the connector is soldered. you can see one of the wires connects directly to one end |

![]() Gosh, what an AWFUL picture. I'm confused and will take another, clear pic, under my scope so you can point out the fuse. I do see something in that corner, but it doesn't look soldered directly. It looks like it could possible be soldered to the same trace.

![]() If anyone knows common faults of this unit, I'm all ears. The fuse is good. I'm about a 5-6 on motherboard diagnostics but know nothing about PSU diagnostics. I've found a lot of info online about the Xbox One, but can't seem to find any info on the One S.

![]() if the fuse is good there are 2 common psu problems - not specific to this one.
first - shorted output diode. so meter between the 12v and ground contacts second - but i dont thing its old enough, although it is in a sealed box, the small startup capacitor that gets the chip running. it's going to be an electrolytic connected to the chip with a value between 10uf and 47uf usually. if it fails the psu cant start |
