![]() Hello to all
I have this resistor from the PS4 SLIM 17-160p1a power supply that seems to be out of order. Does not give any Ohm or Kohm value ect.., neither diode, nor in continuity it must be cut. I am looking for the value of this resistor ... What is strange the 3rd ring is silver. Should I consider it as this? Value 16.8 Ohm normally according to color code (See photo) or 0.16 Ohm 1st ring = Brown = 1 2nd ring Blue = 6 3rd ring Gray = 8 4th ring OR Multiplier = x0.1 Ohm 5th ring Red = +/- 2 %. Tolerance of + or - 0.336 ohms If someone has a PS4 Slim power supply and has the right value =D because according to the series of power supplies the manufacturer has chosen the same value for all Last edited by fab13; 12-12-2022 at 01:22 PM.. |

![]() You already have your answer, why start another thread? The third band is SILVER. Depending on the manufacturer the last band can mean anything from tolerance, to non inductive or ppm in this case it seems to indicate the wattage, 2 watts
