ECS K7S5A Rev. 3.1 but different caps

I am recapping this board for a friend.

When I searched old posts, I found this one by Rainbow

    Rainbow's board

His board is Rev 3.1 and so is the one I am working on now.

However, his caps are 3300uF and mine are 6x 2200uF near the CPU and 3x 1800uF/6.3V at the input VRMs!

    So, what is going on?

Should I redo all mine as 3300uF?

Or, I can do 3300+1000 for each of the 3 phase VRM?

Wow, polys on ECS...8x820uF but then yours have 4 phase VRMs

OTOH, if I want to go "budget", should I do 2x3300, 2x2200 (original) or 3300+1000 (ultra cheap)?

It's recommended to use the same values of caps as the ones on your motherboard when you replace them.

Aluminum electrolytic capacitors are usually very low-cost components.

Recapped with 2200uF/6.3V and all is well.
