    No power ACER C5V01 LA-E891P

Hi I have motherboard that has no power 19v power rail is prsent no shorted found, checking the PU501 i dont have +1.2vp voltage then +0.6VSP voltages

+1.2VP +0.6VSP comes after pressing the power button first check

Does PL401 PL402 output 3/5ALW? Test impedance test with multimeter on PL401/2

            Remove the jumper pj403 and test Ohms both sides , test 19V in PQ402 , test cap PC413 Ohms , test PU401 pin 6 7 8 9 10 11 Voltage

PJ403 the left side has 19ohms the right side has 400 ohms PQ402 has +19v PC413 has 200 ohms PU401 pin 9 has 4.7vpin 10 has 4 milli volt pin 11 has no voltage

if thats so 19 Ohms then PL402 should be the same that's not good now you have to test PC416 PR410 PQ402 for short and pin 6 of PU401 must have 3.3V EN or change the PU401

Trace it back 3V_EN comes from this pic point MAINPWON becomes EN through a Z-Diode

Thanks for the schematics I just figured out that the Camera module failed and was causing short and the laptop was only blue light flashing.

This board has the power button on the keyboard on the laptop. How do I bypass that button and turn it on manually? The keyboard had liquid damage and has been taken out.

Re: No power ACER C5V01 LA-E891P

                                  Provide ground to connector pins

When you press power button below power button connects to ground and this gives ground to connector pin and board turns on

At connector with tweezers short pin 1 or 2

                                  Look in schematic

Thank you stingerchamp. I tried shorting pin 27 (ON/OFFBTN#) on the keyboard connector, no luck, there is no voltage either. There is no ACOK(on the charger) or +3VLP either so Im just going to put it aside.

Did you solved this? It's exact the Same Case Here. 3V_EN isn't Coming Out, but MAINPWON present. No short found. Diode Reads 0.344V/O.L. in Diode Mode. Do i have to replace the diode, the IC or the whole SIO?

                                      Thank you in advance!

RB16 both sides 3V present?? If present, you can cut the track between diode and 3v_EN and thereby enabling 3V_EN from 3V_EN_R. Revived a dell 3567 15341 mb using this trick where the ram ic was not generating VTT but 1.2V was present on coil.
